About the Design
The owner bought this two-bedroom 1936 Tudor when she left San Francisco. We started out planning to redo the bathroom and kitchen, but as things go when walls are opened, the floors needed replacing, the gas lines were not to code, the foundation needed restructure, the electrical and HVAC an upgrade. After a set of plans to expand, budget took over. We limited the scope to address the structural flaws, redo the kitchen and bathroom and make it zen-functional. Looking at possibilities helps set priorities and boundaries.
