Pasadena Condominium

About the Design

This is a 2400 sf condominium on a single floor whose maintenance had been ignored.  The Mid Century was nonetheless replete with exotic woods and indoor-outdoor feel, including a brook and a pond.  I gutted the kitchen, bathrooms and exterior leaving, restoring and matching important cabinetry, added exterior sliding glass doors, moved the laundry from the kitchen to a hallway safe room, and broke through the kitchen wall to the living room to add a bar for open plan socializing and borrowed light, still retaining its old world fundamentals.
